Currently we seek two part time cashiers for varied shifts up to approximately 30 hours per week. Applicants should enjoy working with the public. Some customer service skills and hardware/building supplies experience would be helpful. Giving back is just as important to Lumberworld as stocking our shelves with power tools and paint. As with all businesses, Lumberworld has many request for donations of all types. We'd love to satisfy all of the requests that we receive, but we can't. To facilitate the planning of our giving back, we ask that organizations requesting to be recipients of a donation submit a written request to us so that we may consider it. Our budget is set at the beginning of each year. Please read the following guidelines to keep in mind for your submission.
Donations Guidelines: Donations will be in the form of goods or services that fall in the scope of our business. An offer to advertise is not considered a donation, our advertising budget is already allocated and no other funds are available. The recipient organization must be local and within our trading area. Only written submissions will be considered. Sorry no phone or in-person request can be accepted. We review requests on a monthly basis so please submit your request well in advance.
